“Youtube is a mere continuation of Blogs by other means”
– Clausewitz, probably
A note by Alexandros Sainidis
For the past ten days or so I’ve been working on this video for our blog Pecunia et Bellum. This video is an introduction both for me and the viewer.
On the one side of the coin, it is a journey of self criticism and finding a balance between what needs improvement at this point of time, and moving on (a euphemism for “not wasting more than ten days for your first try”). It introduced and exposed me to flaws, gaps in knowledge, and my perception of verbal english as opposed to the written one.
On the flip side, for the reader and the viewer, it is an introduction to International Relations Theory as I see it; as I would present it to a friend. Hence, it is subjective and focuses on some aspects of IR theory at the expense of other elements.
We hope that you enjoy it, as fun is not the definition of silly, even when talking about “high politics”. Each medium has its own audience and deserves an individual, yet cohesive approach.
